Jacki Rubin

Speech Language Pathologist MA, CCC-SLP

Jacki graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Jacki is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has received training in leading research-based social skills groups PEERS®, Social Thinking®, DIRFloortime®, and The Hanen Approach as well as received her yoga teacher training from The New School of Yogic Arts in Brookline, MA. Her work is most influenced by Stanley Greenspan (DIR/Floortime Model) and Dr. Steven Porges (the Polyvagal Theory).

Jacki is very passionate about utilizing her knowledge and highly empathetic spirit to support children and parents through coaching and dyadic work. She weaves her passion for yoga and nervous system regulation with her knowledge of mental health, speech, language, and social communication in her work as a Speech Language Pathologist.  

Flor Bromley

National Parenting Product Award (NAPPA) winner

Flor Bromley is a recording artist, bilingual singer/songwriter, actress, storyteller and puppeteer. Flor's mission is to share the Latin-American experience through her music with a new generation.

She is a professionally trained musical theater actress with an Education degree who uses global rhythms, bilingualism, the power of storytelling and fun puppetry to engage different audiences from all backgrounds and ages during her concert experiences. She is a National Parenting Product Award (NAPPA) winner and a USA songwriting finalist.

Her series “Fun with Flor” and music videos have been featured on PBS WNET Thirteen. She has performed at venues nationwide including Wolftrap, Miami Children’s Museum, NYC KidsFest, among others. Her latest album “Pachamama,” released by 8 Pound Gorilla Records, is a tribute to Mother Earth and her indigenous roots. 

Chris Dorman

Emmy Award-Winning Musician for Kids

Chris Dorman wears many hats; Father, Writer, Composer, Farmer, Community Builder, and Early Childhood Educator. A serial collaborator, Chris has worked with dozens of musicians, artists, and engineers throughout his career to produce nine full-length albums of original music as Chris Dorman and Mister Chris.

Chris studied with many mentors and experts in the realm of Early Childhood Education, which enabled his founding of Music For Sprouts in 2012. This beloved Early Childhood Music Program provided music and movement classes and workshops for ages Birth to 5 years. Chris and his team ran weekly classes for nearly 200 children. Many organizations in Vermont took note of the program and hired Music For Sprouts to visit schools, run workshops for Educators, and commissioned original songs. Most notably, Vermont PBS contracted Chris to create an original Public Television Show.

In 2017, he created, acted in, and wrote the screenplay for Mister Chris and Friends, a family Television show co-produced by Vermont PBS. The show ran for two seasons, received widespread praise throughout Vermont and beyond, and received a New England Emmy Award for Best Children’s Programming.

Samantha Engel

Master of Arts in Teaching, Fairleigh Dickinson University

Samantha Engel, an accomplished educator and insightful curriculum designer, brings her expertise & perspective to Storypod. Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and completed her Master of Arts in Teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University, graduating with high distinction.

As an Educator, Samantha excelled in creating and implementing innovative lesson plans for social science instruction. Her efforts resulted in significant growth in student performance and a seamless transition between remote and in-person instruction.

Samantha's passion is rooted in enhancing educational experiences through curriculum development and personalized instruction, while staying at the forefront of teaching best practices.
